Q: What will Wells Bank’s Internet Banking do for me?

A: Internet Banking offers you another convenient way to access your Wells Bank accounts. Once you have successfully applied for Internet Banking, you will be able to perform a variety of routine banking transactions on-line. A few examples include account information inquiry, statement retrieval, on-line transfers between accounts, and on-line viewing of transactions and images of you checks.

Q: How do I apply for Internet Banking?

A: In order to be able to register yourself as a Wells Bank Internet Banking user, you must have at least one account with Wells Bank. It could be a checking account, savings account, certificate of deposit or a loan. If you already have an account at Wells Bank of Platte City, simply complete our Personal Internet Banking Form or our Business Banking Form and fax it to 816-431-3620 or stop by our bank at 3rd and Main, Platte City, MO and ask to be signed up for Internet Banking.

Q: Will I be charged a fee to use Internet Banking or Bill Pay?

A: No, these services are provided to you free of charge.

Q: What should I do when I use Internet Banking for the first time?

A: Perform the following steps:

  • Make sure that you have received your username and password from Wells Bank.
  • Visit Wells Bank’s website at http://www.wells-bank.com and click on Online Banking.
  • Enter your username and password that you received from Wells Bank.
  • Create your own username and password.

Q: What do I do if I forget my NetTeller ID and Password?

A: Contact the Internet Banking Administrator by calling 816-858-2121. Be prepared to give an account number and other other personal information for identifications purposes. You will either be given a new password or your password will be reset.

Q: What Happens if I don’t log out of Internet Banking?

A: Internet Banking has a 10 minute time out feature, so if the system is not used for 10 minutes, you will be automatically disconnected and will need to log back in to continue using the system.

Q: How late in the evening can I make transfers using Internet Banking?

A: If you make a transfer after 6 p.m., your transaction will occur the next business day.

Q: How can you guarantee the security of my banking information?

A: We use the most advanced security systems available to protect your information. A few of these are listed below:

  • Your banking information never travels the Interenet without encryption protection.
  • Login sessions have a time-out limit and after the limit is reached you are required to login again.
  • PIN guessing is recognized and reported.
